The BC She Plays Golf festival is a citywide celebration of golf for women and girls taking place across the Greater Vancouver Area alongside the GOLFBC Group BC Women’s Open from June 17 – June 22, 2024.

    • Join us for a fun and non-traditional women & girls “Learn to Scramble” event on the Lil Devil course at Blue Devil!
    • 4600 Cambie St, Vancouver, BC V6G 1Z4
    • 4:00 – 8:30pm
    • Registration fee: $50 (includes dinner, a swag bag, and participation in the Learn to Scramble event)
    • A “scramble” in golf means that each member of a group tees off and then collectively, the group decides which shot they like the best. Other team members pick up their balls and everyone hits from that chosen spot.   • Junior Leagues, Lessons & Programs

    2. Youth On Course – A Golf Canada program where participating courses offer up blocks of tee times throughout the week for Youth on Course members to play for $5 or less.     3. GolfBC Kids Play Free Initiative – Various courses within BC that offer free golf to juniors at certain times of day when accompanied by an adult. Visit website for a full list of locations.

    4. LABsters Golf Program (Surrey, BC) – A junior program offering summer camps designed to introduce kids to the game of golf through play and create a pathway for kids to further explore their skills.

    5. Mayfair Lakes Girls Academy (Richmond, BC) – An all-girls program led by Keri Moffat with three levels of coaching: Basics, Learn to Play and Learn to Compete.

    6. Okanagan Golf Club Summer Camps (Kelowna, BC) – 4-day junior summer camps in partnership with UBCO’s Jr. Heat Golf Team that cover all the basics of golf, including putting, chipping, full swing and general golf etiquette.
