Parsons enters her first year on the Amateur Squad following a notable sophomore year at Indiana University and successful summer of results at top international events. Her year was highlighted by her first collegiate win at the 2019 Lady Boilermaker and a 5th place finish at the 2019 Pan American Games, contributing to a bronze medal for the Canadian contingent. In addition, the Delta, B.C. native notched top-5 results at the 2019 PNGA Women's Championship and 2019 Women's Porter Cup.

Q: What are some of your nicknames?

Don’t have any.

Q: How did you get into golf? Explain.

My dad put me into summer camps when I came to visit my grandparents in Vancouver. Then I joined a junior golf league when I lived on Guam which allowed me to meet friends and practice in a group setting.

Q: How do you mark your golf ball?

I draw a line on it and 1-3 red dots.

Q: Do you have any siblings? If so, how old?

I have 4 younger siblings. My brothers are 17,10,9 and my sister is 4.

Q: What was the last book you read?

Ghost Wall by Sarah Moss for class.

Q: Who would play you in a movie about your life?

Shay Mitchell

 

Q: What exercise do you dread the most?

Beep test and burpees.

Q: What was the last picture that you took on your phone?

A picture of my team and I at dinner.

Q: What is the best thing about your hometown?

A lot of good food and beautiful views of the mountains & beaches.

Q: Do you have any superstitions?

I do things in sets of 3.

Q: What is the most surprising thing in your golf bag?

The amount of extra food and lip balm.
