Parr makes his return to the Junior Boys Squad as one of three players hailing from Québec. The St-Célestin native secured a double win at the 2020 Québec Junior and Juvenile Boys Championship. Parr also notched a T12 finish at the 2020 AJGA Junior All-Star Invitational and a 13th place finish at the 2020 Arnold Palmer Junior Invitational.
Q: What are some of your nicknames?
I have a couple weird ones but I usually go by JP
Q: How did you get into golf?
I was passing by a golf course when I was about 4 years old and I told my parents that I wanted to try golf. And once I tried it I fell in love.
Q: How do you mark your golf ball?
I always put 2 black dots next to the number and a black line
Q: Do you have any siblings, If so, how old?
I have an older sister named Marie and a younger brother named Charles.
Q: What was the last book you read?
The last book I read was The Match: The day the game of golf changed forever by Mark Frost
Q: Who would you play in a movie about your life?
I don’t know who would play me in a movie, but I would like my life to be narrated by Andre Braugher
Q: What is something most people don’t know about you? Any hidden talents?
I don’t really have any hidden talents but I played Ultimate Frisbee for my school and I was actually really good
Q: What exercise do you dread the most?
I ABSOLUTELY dread the plank

Q: What is the best thing about your hometown?
The best thing about my hometown is that it’s small and everyone knows everyone
Q: Do you have any superstitions?
I wouldn’t say it’s a superstition but I always mark my ball the same way and I also always use the same ball marker.
Q:What is the most surprising thing in your golf bag?
I always have a bunch of gloves in my bag (5 to 10) and I also have a mini tripod to film my swing
