Listowel, Ont., native Corey Conners returns to the Young Pro Squad for a second year after his rookie campaign as a professional. Conners turned professional in April of 2015 after earning top-amateur honours at the Masters tournament. The Kent State alumnus went on to record two Top-10 finishes on the Mackenzie Tour-PGA Tour Canada, two Top-25 finishes on the Web.com Tour and added a T3 finish on the PGA Tour Latinoamérica. He will return to the Mackenzie Tour-PGA Tour Canada for 2016. Conners’ storied amateur career with Golf Canada featured a win at the Jones Cup and a runner-up finish at the 2014 U.S. Amateur Championship. The three-time Amateur Squad member was also part of a trio of Canadians that lifted Canada to a runner-up finish at the 2014 World Amateur Team Championship.
